Jacqui originally trained in Beauty and Massage Therapy in 1985 with an ITEC registered school in Hong Kong. After returning to the
U.K. Jacqui continued her studies in Aromatherapy, Indian Head Massage and Reiki, whilst operating her own private practice. It was while Jacqui was gaining teaching experience in Aromatherapy and Beauty Therapy at local Adult Education Colleges that she realised there was a need for a more personal and professional private teaching school in the area. Along with her Husband Phil, who brings with him 25 years of Investment Banking experience, they established the Brentwood Academy of Health & Beauty in 1998.

Caroline Bull - B.Ed (Hons), C&G

Internal Verifier and Assessor Awards. As a
qualified teacher, Caroline has worked in
schools since 1988 with all age ranges.
After qualifying in all areas of Beauty and
Massage therapies she set up her own
private practice, worked in a hotel spa
and lectured in a local further
education college. As the Education
Manager at the Academy, Caroline
overseas the student support,
assessment and internal verification
procedures.

Caroline Blackman

Caroline initially trained in 1993 in Theatrical and Media Make-up and
progressed to qualify in all areas of Beauty Therapy. Caroline has ten years experience working within the beauty industry with many of the major skin care companies. Combined with her teaching, Caroline continues to work as a therapist at an award winning salon.

Michele Hennan - CIBTAC,
BABTAC, VTCT, C & G
Michele trained in 1987 in Beauty Therapy, Massage and Electrolysis. She set up and ran the Beauty Clinic at the Brentwood Centre for 18 years before leaving to undertake her teaching qualifications. Michele continues to run her own private practice and has kept her
professional skills up to date by attending many post-graduate courses including Indian Head Massage and eyelash extensions. Michele teaches across the full range of Beauty Therapy courses at the Academy.

Fiona Chapman

C & G Internal Verifier & Assessor Award.

Fiona spent 6 years working in two large teaching hospitals as a Physiological Measurements Technician before training as a Beauty Therapist in 1989. With her background and knowledge of human physiology Fiona naturally progressed into teaching and has taught on a wide range of full and part-time courses since 1991. Her specialist areas are anatomy & physiology, science, therapeutic massage & Stone Therapy. F iona is principal course tutor on the Level 3 Advanced Beauty Therapy courses.

Bill Line
- DMT, FA Dip., YMCA, ITEC registered tutor.
Bill offers a wealth of experience from his background as a registered F.A. physiotherapist and osteomyologist having completed three years study at the School of Osteopathy in Bristol. Combined with his teaching, Bill also runs his own busy private practice. Bill teaches Anatomy and Physiology on the Holistic Massage course.

Nail Technology
Wendy
Partridge - VTCT level 2 & 3, Cert Ed.,
C & G Assessors Award.
Wendys’ specialist subject is Nail Technology and she is a Creative and Calgel Nail Technician. She has competed in the Fantasy Nail Art Division of the Nailympics using acrylic. After gaining her VTCT Advanced nail diploma along with her VTCT certificate in Nail Art Wendy opened her own nail bar. In 2002 she was invited to teach Nail Technology to NVQ level 3, BTEC National Diploma and VTCT students at a local Further Education College. Wendy is also qualified in Body Massage and Indian Head Massage and now combines teaching with running her own private nail practice. Since joining the Academy in 2007, Wendy teaches across the full range of Nail qualifications and describes nails as her true passion.
